@A86 Actually, they probably do not look phenotypically similar to Africans, because you and I will have trouble distinguishing facial features of our out-group races. Reckognizing uniqueness of facial features is a complicated, though subconscious, job for the brain. So the brain learns which race is the most significant for it, and because white people usually see most of white people (family in infancy), this becomes the template.
